FRANCO-BRITISH BOOK CLUB

Following the wonderful celebration of our London and Paris Club twinning in December 2025, we are delighted to announce the launch of our joint Book Club ! 

Our aim is to enjoy reading, sharing and discussing books together. To celebrate our shared heritage, we will explore one English title and one French title for each session, with discussions held in their respective languages.

Our selection ranges from fiction and non-fiction to drama and poetry. We have focused on authors with a special connection to France or Britain, alongside personal favourites that reflect both cultures.

Our first online meeting will be on:

 Thursday, 18th June at 3:00 pm (London time). 

We will be discussing :

• · L’Heure des Prédateurs by Giuliano da Empoli

This is a co-hosted activity with the Lyceum Club of Paris. Our two bookclub's leaders for the Lyceum Club of London are Anne Cavell and Sylvie Skeet. You can contact Anne and Sylvie for further information.
