A tribute to the founder of the Lyceum and the presentation of our Club's vision for the 21st century will be followed by two exclusive talks by exceptional British artists: Diana Armfield RA and Helen Whittaker. Diana, Constance Smedley's niece, will share her memories and thoughts. Helen is internationally known for her stained-glass artworks and for her expertise in restoring and reviving the beauty of stained glass in old churches.
There will be a coffee/tea break served with a celebration cake, specially made for us by Luminary Bakery. Luminary Bakery is a social enterprise that helps, trains and employs some of the most disadvantaged women in London.

You are invited to join our private 'Women of London' walk led by a historian, Becky Laxton-Bass. The walk will start at the Agatha Christie memorial on Cranbourn Street. It will take us to several memorials of women who have contributed to literature, nursing, and politics. This historical walk around the city of Westminster will tailor-made for us and will be followed by an optional lunch at the Two Chairmen pub.

For booking the gala dinner, you will need a code. If you are a member or a special guest and you have not yet received it, please send us an email at info@lyceumclublondon.org.
For those attending the afternoon and the evening events it will be possible to relax in a room reserved by the club for us during 5pm and 7pm. It will also be possible to change outfit. A powder room is available.
We will have an official photographer, Colette Hewitt. We hope that you will see no objections, but if it is the case, please let us know before the 26th of September. We would also like to remind you that the use of mobile phone in the club is not allowed.
For those of you who are coming to the walk and lunch on the 28th September and then going back to the continent by the afternoon Eurostar, we will arrange for your suitcase to be at your disposal so you have enough time to enjoy your lunch before catching the train. Please let us know if this is the case for you and where you are staying and at what time is your train, as soon as you know your arrangement.
